The fourth edition of Bologna Design Week, an event conceived and organized by YOUTOOL and curated by Elena Vai and Enrico Maria Pastorello, takes place from September 25-29, 2018. In conjunction with Cersaie - Salone Internazionale della Ceramica per l’Architettura e dell’Arredobagno (International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings), the center of Bologna will be enlivened by more than 100 events including exhibitions, workshops, exhibitions, screenings, vernissages, talks and design nights.
The fourth edition of the event will make use of 150 participants, aiming to broaden the audience interested in Cersaie, now in its 36th edition, with events to be held after event hours. Scheduled are Design Night, which will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 26, offering unprecedented itineraries and extraordinary openings that will change the perception of the historic center; the cellars of Palazzo Isolani will host Mumble Talk Arena, which will offer a rich program of architectural meetings, and the Architetture Aperte exhibition, curated by the BolognaOrder of Architects, while in Piazza Santo Stefano we will find the RefleAction installation conceived by Mario Cucinella and his SOS School of Sustainability for Pollution 2018.
