Art Breakfast-Mother's Day special: Arrigo del Rigo's Portrait of the Mother returns to Prato's Praetorian Palace

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13, 2018, it will be possible to admire after 62 years in Prato’s Palazzo Pretorio the painting"Portrait of Mother" created in 1928 by Prato artist Arrigo del Rigo.

The event is made possible by collector Franco Bertini, who will bring the painting back to the Praetorian Palace for the appointment with"A Breakfast to Art - Mother’s Day Special."

In 1956, in fact, the portrait was last exhibited for the large group show held here.

The art breakfast will begin at 10:30 a.m. with musical accompaniment, and then the work in question will be presented to the public with an in-depth look at the paintings by Arrigo del Rigo on display on the third floor, in the hall dedicated to the 19th and 20th centuries.

Reservations are required to attend, as places are limited.

The cost is 10 euros.
