An immersive journey into Van Gogh's most iconic room and works. In Parma from June 13, 2020

As part of Parma Capital of Culture 2020, the Van Gogh Multimedia & Friends multimedia event reopens June 13 through Sept. 13, 2020

Van Gogh Multimedia & Friends, the event dedicated to the famous Dutch artist that is part of Parma Capital of Culture 2020, will reopen to the public on June 13, thanks to Navigare s.r.l.

The multimedia show set up at Parma ’s Palazzo Dalla Rosa Prati will be open to visitors until Sept. 13, 2020, and will offer, reproduced on very high quality multimedia supports, Van Gogh’s portraits and self-portraits, still lifes and landscapes that will come to life to allow visitors to have a totally immersive experience in iconic works by the famous Dutch painter.

The path, built like a living labyrinth, will lead into a secret room dedicated to works by the artist’s friends with whom he surrounded himself during his stay in the Ville Lumière.
Every twenty days, works from the private collections of a different artist, such as Monet, Degas and Renoir, will contribute to the idea of a unique artistic context, populated by protagonists ofImpressionism and Post-Impressionism.

The multimedia part is curated by Giovanna Strano, who through images, sounds and words, has developed with large projections the themes addressed by the artist in his paintings. The exhibition is enriched by exclusive clothes on Van Gogh’s themes from the Art Couture collection of fashion designer Gisella Scibona.
