All social accounts of Italian museums have been aggregated into one site

Cultura Italia Online, the first aggregator of the social profiles of Italian cultural institutes, is born.

Cultura Italia Online(www.culturaitaliaonline.it), the first social aggregator of the accounts of Italy’s leading cultural institutions, was launched yesterday. It is a project that collects the posts of more than a thousand institutional social profiles: museums, libraries, archives, theaters and much more, all organized in four sections (“Archives and Libraries,” “Museums,” “Music,” “Cinema and Theater”), for a project that day after day is self-feeding with the best of Italian culture in digital, offering the public a sort of orientation among the different proposals. A tool that, moreover, will continue to be enriched over time and that is also open to new proposals from those who would like to collaborate and join (in fact, there is an area on the site from which it is possible to send your application).

The idea of an aggregator arose from the need, much felt during the weeks of the Covid-19 contagion containment measures, to be able to have quality content online. The MiBACT has therefore launched this product that offers many windows on Italian culture also in terms of international promotion.
