OnSaturday, July 28, 2018 at 9 p. m. at Pozzo Garitta in Albissola Marina, in front of the famous atelier that hosted Lucio Fontana and his ingenious creative and experimental insights in the 1950s and 1960s, there will be an artistic performance by master Gabriele Maquignaz: through a coded and reasoned cut on the canvas, Maquignaz will open with his cutter forged in gold, steel, aluminum and ceramic, the Door to the Afterlife, forever uniting the two dimensions in art.

During the performance, the Centro Studi Movimento Artistico Aldilà, which will bring together leading scholars and personalities from the international scientific and humanist world, and the Manifesto-Code Aldilà will be presented.

To celebrate Albissola’s ceramicist tradition, master Gabriele Maquignaz has been chosen by the Savona Torretta Lions Club to represent in this XXXV edition of the artistic-cultural event ’The Summer Plate 2018’ the continuity between history and the future of art, including in the field of ceramics, and his works will be presented in unique examples.
