New initiative at the Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte: Capodimonte after Vermeer!
From Nov. 2 to Dec. 29, an art-house film will be shown every Thursday, in original language with Italian subtitles: eight films of various genres, including Luchino Visconti’s Senso, Stanley Kubrik’s Barry Lyndon, Julie Taymor’s Frida, Derek Jarman’s Caravaggio, Mike Leigh’s Turner, Pier Paolo Pasolini’s Mamma Roma and La ricotta, and Loving Vincent,a recent animated film by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman.
Also on Nov. 5 and 25 and Dec. 21 in the Cradle Room there will be classical music concerts in collaboration with the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella in Naples, while in the various rooms of the Museum music, dance and theater performances will be organized on Nov. 17 and Dec. 9, 17 and 29.
A rich program presented by the director of the Capodimonte Museum and Real Bosco Sylvain Bellenger aimed at everyone.
