In the heart of Milan, overlooking Piazza Gae Aulenti and inside Unipol Tower, the skyscraper designed by Mario Cucinella, the third location of CUBO, Unipol Group’s business museum, opens today, Wednesday, April 16. A new space dedicated tocontemporary art, culture and educational activities created to welcomeall those who love knowledge and its sharing, with a special focus on young people and their active involvement.
The opening ceremony was attended by Matteo Laterza, Unipol CEO, Vittorio Verdone, Unipol Director of Communication and Media Relations, and Giulia Zamagni, CUBO manager. To celebrate the opening, the musical event “Sulle corde del cuore,” a concert featuring Luisa Prandina (harp) and Laura Marzadori (violin), both first parts of the Teatro alla Scala and famous soloists, has been organized. The two musicians will take guests on a sonic journey through masterpieces of classical and contemporary music, from Beethoven to Vivaldi to Piazzolla. The event, which takes place on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 6 p.m. by invitation only, is held in collaboration with the Musica Insieme Foundation.
Starting April 17, 2025, CUBO’s headquarters in Unipol Tower will be open to the public with the exhibition Sliding, an artistic and multimedia journey through the works of Beverly Pepper, Quayola, Larry Rivers, Stefano Ronci and the fuse* collective.
Established in 2013 in Bologna, in the elevated square of Porta Europa, the business museum CUBO aims to spread knowledge and stimulate social dialogue through the language of culture. The first Bologna location was joined in 2021 by the second, located in the Unipol Tower in the same city. The museum promotes the enhancement of Unipol Group’s cultural heritage and memory through temporary exhibitions, educational programs, musical events and cultural initiatives.
