The project, Luca Rossi explains, “reactivates our imagination and the surprise effect in a historical phase in which digital communication risks stifling and anesthetizing our imagination as much as the value of expectation and surprise.” Hidden Works, which was created in dialogue with Luca Rossi’s participation in Biennolo 2023 and his solo exhibition to be held in Milan at Gallery Six in December, addresses the phase that the artist calls “altermodern” and which, after modern and postmodern, focuses mainly on the management and manipulation of information. Luca Rossi claims to “manipulate” information as if it were clay: this practice is combined with his assiduous and obsessive critical action also made of “information.”
