The event is already sold out and is open with100 percent capacity for 1,000 spectators. Conducting the nineteenth edition will be Fabio Luisi, who will lead the Teatro La Fenice Orchestra and Chorus, the latter prepared by Alfonso Caiani, and two great soloists, soprano Pretty Yende and tenor Brian Jagde.

The musical program will consist of two parts: an exclusively orchestral first with a performance of Symphony No. 9 in E minor Op. 95 From the New World by Antonín DvoÅ™ák, and a second part dedicated to melodrama, with a roundup of arias and choral passages from the most beloved opera repertoire that will conclude with the Va pensiero from Nabucco and the toast Libiam ne’ lieti calici from Giuseppe Verdi’s Traviata.
