Cinema Revolution - What a Summer Show is back, the initiative promoted by the Ministry of Culture involving movie theaters throughout Italy from June 9 to September 14, 2024, and featuring Italian and European films at the special price of €3.50. Also this year, the initiative will include the two editions of Cinema in Festa, a five-day event in June and September, launched for a period of five years (2022-2026) by ANICA and ANEC, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the collaboration of the David di Donatello - Academy of Italian Cinema. This year’s editions of Cinema in Festa will be held from Sunday, June 9 to Thursday, June 13, and Sunday, September 15 to Thursday, September 19.

"Until September, there is one more reason to enjoy the unique experience of watching a film on the big screen: Cinema Revolution - What a Summer Show is back, an initiative aimed at the full restart of theaters, a project designed to reaffirm their crucial role in the development of the entire industry as well as their importance for the growth of our communities. After the extraordinary success of the 2023 edition, I am certain that the response of moviegoers to the rich season of films and promotions that is about to begin will also provide great satisfaction," said Undersecretary for Culture Lucia Borgonzoni.
