Dance with me, Roberto Bolle's big dance show, is back

In prime time on Rai1, Roberto Bolle’s great dance show, Danza con me, produced by Rai1 in collaboration with Ballandi and Artedanza srl, returns on January 1, 2022. This fifth edition will also host very special artists from various backgrounds to celebrate the return to life in all its forms, with unprecedented and original cameos and appearances from the worlds of music and film, dance and culture, literature and television itself. Serena Rossi will lead the evening, who will not fail to put herself on the line, pushing into new territories. Alongside her will be the irony of Lillo. Special guest of the evening John Malkovich, who, in addition to lending himself to the dynamics of the program, will bring a theatrical piece of great lightness and charm, accompanied by the artists IGUDESMAN & JOO.

Ornella Vanoni will be the soul of an unusual “dance troupe” formed by some of the most beloved Italian actresses of the moment: Margherita Buy, Micaela Ramazzotti, Benedetta Porcaroli, Sabrina Impacciatore, Diana del Bufalo. Music will, as always, be among the main ingredients of the program: guests include the duo Colapesce and Dimartino; BOOSTA will accompany Roberto Bolle in two evocative dance moments, both in its more electronic and melodic keys. The young Frida Bollani Magoni will thrill Roberto Bolle and the first dancers of La Scala with her talent on piano and voice. And, again on piano, she will embellish a contemporary ballet ballet, musician Beatrice Rana. A reflection, composed of dance and words, on time and its relationship with love, is made by Roberto Bolle and the prima ballerina of La Scala in Milan, Virna Toppi, together with actors Jasmine Trinca and Alessandro Borghi.

This edition also wanted to celebrate the return to sport: for the first time Bolle’s dance will join the gracefulness of the Olympic Butterflies. The presentation and in-depth analysis of some of the most important and significant pieces of this year’s dance program were entrusted to Nicola Lagioia and Silvia Avallone, Franca Leosini, Carla Signoris, and Valerio Lundini.

The great dance of Roberto Bolle, always at the center of Danza con me, sees this year the return of some great stars of the international scene: Svetlana Zakharova, prima ballerina assoluta of the Bolshoi in Moscow: to her the task of paying homage, together with Bolle, to Carla Fracci by performing what was the great workhorse of the Milanese dancer, Giselle. Then there will be another staple of the repertoire: Paquita, by Marius Petipa, danced here by the Étoile accompanied by the young students of the Accademia della Scala in Milan and especially by Marianela Nunez, prima ballerina of the Royal Ballet in London, with whom Bolle will also dance the timeless L’Histoire de Manon, by Kenneth MacMillan.
