Art on TV Oct. 4-10: Munch, Leonardo and Verrocchio, Toulouse-Lautrec

With summer now behind us, here are the TV programs dedicated to art in early October.

On Rai 3 comes #Maestri which will be broadcast Tuesday through Friday at 3:25 pm.

On Rai 5 Civiliasations, art over time returns Monday and Tuesday at 8:20 p.m. and Wednesday and Friday at 7:45 p.m. On Friday, October 8 at 8:40 p.m. Art Night will talk about Tiepolo and Leoncillo.

On Rai Storia the first four episodes of the fourth series of #Maestri will be broadcast Tuesday through Friday at 5:50 p.m.

On Sky Arte on Monday, Oct. 4, we will see Leonardo and Verrocchio at 12:10 p.m., two episodes of Painting the Sea at 5:30 p.m., two episodes of The Secrets of Art at 9:15 p.m. (repeats Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 2:30 p.m.) and two episodes of Toulouse Lautrec at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday 5 at 12:30 p.m. will feature Munch - The Hell Beyond the Scream (pictured), followed by Joan Miró - The Inner Fire. Wednesday 6 at 12:30 p.m. Leonardo and Verrocchio returns followed by Carracci, the silent revolution; at 3:25 p.m. there will be Manet - Artist’s Impressions. On Thursday 7 at 12:35 p.m. Michelangelo - The Heart and the Stone will be broadcast, followed by Renoir and the Little Girl with the Blue Ribbon, while at 9:15 p.m. we will see Titian: Love, Desire, Death and Tintoretto - A Rebel in Venice (both programs will be broadcast in replay on Friday starting at 2:30 p.m.). On Friday 8 at 12:45 p.m. Operation Caravaggio will be broadcast followed by Modigliani and His Secrets, while at 8:10 p.m. Luce Social Club returns.
