Banksy's work appears in Dover.

A Brexit-inspired mural appeared on the facade of a building near Dover Harbor last Sunday night, depicting a worker on a ladder intent on destroying one of the twelve stars of the European Union flag with a hammer and chisel.

The work was reportedly created by street artist Banksy, according to what was first confirmed by a spokesperson for the artist and later by Banksy himself, who posted images of his mural on his official Instagram profile.

The work appeared on the same day as the presidential election in France.
